	I had some salmon that I wanted to marinate and this is what I came up with. No real measurements. I just dumped stuff in a bowl until it looked and tasted right. freshly ground ginger 4 garlic cloves, finely minced olive oil rice wine vinegar soy sauce orange juice salt pepper Even the SO was impressed. He was afraid he wouldn't like it and wanted me to not marinate a piece, but I told him to be adventurous and dumped all the fish in the bowl! I would've used some sesame oil if I had any. 	Sorry, I've been busy and hadn't checked back. 	It's funny, whenever I hear somebody talk about amazing marinades, it almost invariably features ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and citrus. The first time I had this combo was on a steak back in the 90's. It was one of the last times I ever ate red meat, and yet one of the best.
