I almost forgot VN had a cooking board till a friend reminded me. x.x Shame on me.
Anyways, I'm looking for some good resource sites for low calorie meals and recipes if anyone happens to have some bookmarked. I'm on a low cal diet but I dont' want food to get boring on me or I'll never stick to the diet! I currently use SparkPeople.com and Eatingwell.com. I also use a plethora of hand-me-down cookbooks that I adapt to be lower calorie. But I'm looking for more to add to my bookmarks when I go about planning the meals for the week.

We use a Splenda cookbook for all our diabetic desserts at the food service operation where I work.
I'm excited for the new sweetner Truvia to come out in bulk.
Olive oil is always better to cook with too.

I like Ellie's recipes, but they're a bit bland for me, so I tend to spice them up a bit. She makes some interesting healthy but still tasty stuff. You can find a lot more of her recipes on http://www.foodnetwork.com/ellie-krieger/index.html

Low calorie... or low sugar?
They are different, and my wife is on a no sugar diet. Ton of great stuff to be made without sugar that is still far from low calorie

I substitute Splenda for sugar in a lot of baked things. I don't use it in crusts because it doesn't brown but I'll substitute it for sugar in cherry pie.

Low Calorie specifically. But Low Sugar recipes can be low cal too ^_^ I'll take anything. I'm not picky.
