(...Miles' older Brother
There was bad blood between them?
[Horns Blow]
They had a falling out...)
Is it intentional? Either way it's pretty annoying.
Also, I hate to say it, but I absolutely hate it when I read an audiobook and its a female narrator. I think it's because they have such a short range of characters before they reach ridiculousness. Every villain has to have a grating sinister voice. Any type of power or commanding tone just sounds campy. When James Marsters was reading Dresden Files, and he shouted Fuego! I could feel the booming command. When Kate Reading tries to put power in her voice, it's just bad... like cartoon villain, pull on my mustache, bad.
Maybe I'm just a fan of Marsters, but this ain't my only comparison I'm going by.

I don't typo often, but when I do, I blame Swype.
