Worth picking up for the measly 6$ on my e-reader? Thoughts?

Trying to help keep this place alive now that I have my very first e-reader!

If you've never read Ender's game definitely!

It's one of the few books I've read more than once or twice.

Agreed, it's an excellent book, one of the best in the genre. The subsequent sequels are hit or miss though, due the fact that Orson Scott Card is crazy as a loon.

QFT. While I enjoyed the sequels, I know people who liked Ender's Game but didn't like the sequels.

I agree with the others. Enders Game is a fantastisk, wonderful, excellent book! The following books are... ok.

That being said, Ender's Shadow, which is a paralell book, just from a diffrent perspective. It's basically the same story, but seen from one of the other characters view. And it is also brilliant

Ender's game was pretty good. It's a pretty short read, and also a bit predictable.
