It was OK.
People tend to overlook some of the failures in the plot, pacing and writing because of all of the gaming culture references it is inundated with.
There were a few section that were just out and out dirt boring.

I bought a copy recently, haven't read it yet.
I got this weird book by Mark Lawrence at the same time called Prince of Thorns. Quick read, finished it in about 3 hours, very disturbing and bleak. I think I liked it.
