I think it would cause alot of problems on DT but i am all for anything new at this point.. just something to show they havent given up and are just riding the horse til it drops


I wish more than anything SERVER MERGE - id give up every rare item, every rare housing, and its very easy to see who had the name first.. the first name keeps it, the 2nd name gets a FF, TD, DT whatever added at the end..


come on turbine.. i bet you would see a TON of resubs if they merged servers

That idea is way to complex for such a small group of developers maybe 6 years ago when they had a team working on coding. I can imagine the patches are produced by 1 Dev and 5 Indian guys in Mumbia.

A server merge would be a ton better but again the logistics are staggering just because of the volume of dormant characters and repetitive housing.

I had always fancied the Idea of having a mansion surrounded by villas with cottages on the fringes. You could have a village with your friends and vassals.

I also would give up all my housing and even names to have a sever merge. Name are easy to come by. Sadly only about 5% of the population feels that way.

I long for the days of hub wars and ayan fights where you might see 20-30 pks.

The only problem then becomes hunting, because everyone is going to try to hunt/macro the same places. But i would figure out a way to make due. But they could also add or update a couple places. Say Vissidel isle which is worthless now.


Long story short, its not gonna happen.
