so its been a few years and i have a few questions my main one being for the tech savvy people here.....now i have reactivated my account and downloaded everything my biggest problem is when i click to log in my character nothing loads up and i get dropped due to a server disconnect. now i have done everything turbines support has said port forwarded ....which took way to long considering i dont really have access to the router in question. Now does anyone know how to get it to work. I ask because my circumstances are not normal as i am currently deployed to iraq so i am on iraqi internet. If anyone has any ideas i am game to try em. Now for my second question i am curious as to if Sun Tzu Zen monachy is still active last time i was in game that was where my toon was.

lol well that just means i got to wait Sun's email that i had i cant send anything to it keeps failing so i can only assume its no longer in use. 0.o bleh ohh well 15 more days and i redeploy back to the states if i have to wait i guess i can lol

you wouldnt happen to be trying to run decal would you?

edit even if you dont have it running the windows firewall needs asherons call port exception rules too. sometimes its turned on even when it says its off.

nah aint running decal at all and i have given windows firewall the rules for both ACclient and AClauncer both incoming and outbound still to no avail i aint sure but could just be my ISP over here due to it only being 512kbps i been asking around and apparently they dont like people playing games like wow out here cause it sucks up bandwidth so i may just be screwed till early september

I can say that I had the same problems during my tours overseas. Never could figure a workaround either. Wish I could help ya, but it sounds like you'll be home soon anyway. might as well just stick it out a few more weeks. Have a safe flight back tho, and we'll see ya stateside/

ports are blocked by the isp, your sol.

or the ip is blocked by turbine, try going through a US proxy and see if you can log in.. if you're not familiar with proxies then have one of your tech friends do it.

i think i may just wait till september when i get back to the states at least there i will have alot more time to spend on getting it running. So until then i just get to do research into whats new since i been gone
