My wife watches every week, but I only watch occasionally. I asked her the same thing. Isn't he the guy that was killed and replaced with the shapeshifter from another dimension or something? So is he back from the dead, or is it the shapeshifter?

according to the comments on Hulu, its an unaired episode from season 1. Dunno how accurate that is.

I recall an episode being bumped this season before the holidays for something or another and I believe this was that episode.

weird. i downloaded 2 copies of fringe s2e12 and they're both different and both episodes i haven't seen. but it's one of the shows i never don't watch. weird. weren't there 2 episodes on this week? i vaguely recall one being on on wednesday.

I think there were 2 this week. We watched one from the DVR from this week, and then I watched the one Thursday night.

Yeah there were two episodes this week. One aired Sunday and one again last night (Thursday). The one on Sunday is the one with Charlie.
