I read an article on a screenwriter's website, and it reminded me of why I usually don't like watching blurays.

I like bluray's picture quality, but I hate how hard the title menu can be to navigate. And lately the trend seems to be to force movie trailers to play right away, and make them either unskippable or you can't fast forward through them, they make you watch them like in a theater. I used to hate those FBI warnings because you can't skip those, so what I end up doing now is going to chapter selection, going to chapter 2, then skipping back to chapter 1, but you can't do that with most of those trailers.
Streaming is nice, but Netflix's library of it is pretty small right now, and the quality isn't always the greatest either, depending on how old the movie/tv show is. It does suck if you have a bad connection though, and the movie conks out on you halfway through or something. I don't have a mobile device that can play movies right now, but I'm sure down the road I'll get one, and it'll be nice to watch a movie while on lunch or if I'm on break.
DVD's are nice, and the movies often load up fast, with relatively easy to navigate menus, but I can't see them staying around for too long once bluray/streaming become more readily available.
So, given the choice, which option do you normally choose, and why? Again, I like bluray's picture quality, but I can put up with DVD quality if they load the movie faster with less hassle. I do like those movies where they give you a bluray, DVD, and digital copy for roughly the same price though.
