i've been watching the lotr trilogy

and i keep getting blown away by the people in it. the crazy scientest in fringe plays the steward of gondor.  it took me like 15 minutes of staring at him to remember who he was but then i was like OMG! and the same goes for tons of others. it's also really impressive that the cg holds up magnificently. 10 years after jurassic park it looked hilariously awful. this looks like it was made yesterday.

I love it when I run into actors like that. You know you have seen them, or in many cases heard them, somewhere else but can't place it. If you are anything like me it would drive you nuts until you figure it out, lol.
