I thought episode 1 was really good, I thought episode 2 was OK.

I do not like the King Bill storyline but I am glad they are moving to Eric as the love interest.

My biggest complaint is all of the side characters doing crap completely unrelated to the main story. I think it really derails the series and hurts the narrative flow a great deal. Tara, Jason, Sam and Jessica are all off doing nonsense I don't care about.

They made Tara, the worst character in the show by light years, a lot more likable with the whole lesbian twist but she is still irrelevant. Sam is, was and will always be awful. I like Jason but I'm sick of him having his own utterly unrelated side story. I liked Lafayette until the second half of last season but at least his story is somewhat relevant now.

I was at peace with them not following the books but now I'm a little annoyed that in places they are bastardizing the book.

Basically, I was ready to dump the series but the beginning of this season has renewed my interest enough that I will keep watching.

Tara is such a drag on the show, I wish they'd get rid of her. She's either mad or sad. There's just no real positive to her character.

I don't really mind the other side stories. At least with Jason or Lafayette there's sometimes humor. They could get rid of Sam's brother and it wouldn't bother me. Jessica's nice to look at, so that tips her into the "keep" category.

I expect Tara not to get naked, I assume anyone who can be that much of a whiny bitch acting has to have it in their blood - but I expect better of Jessica.

This show has become pure, unadulterated garbage.

Tommy is the worst character they have ever come up with and that is saying a lot. The boring forced suspense of Tommy taking over Sam's life is as trite as story telling can get. The only saving grace is that I hate Sam and his pointless storyline even more than I hate the pitiful idea of having Tommy mess up his life.

I don't give one single solitary damn about the white trash redhead and her demon child.

Boohoo I'm Tara and I have nothing to do with anything anymore but I'm still crying 24/7.

Eric, the one great character on the show, has become an over the top soppy mess. They took it too far and then took it a step further. His scenes are so comically melodramatic I can't watch them.

At least they combined two worthless tangential storylines (Jessica and Jason) in to one trite played out pile of shit instead of two.

The seemingly primary storyline continues to go nowhere and do nothing while it offshoots pointless time wasters like Lafeyette and his unlikable boyfriend doing a bunch of unrelated BS nobody cares about.

Sookie might as well not even be in the show.

You know you have created a black hole of suck when goddamn Bill is your best and most dynamic character.

i hate more of it than i enjoy but i'll still watch it cuz i haven't read the books so there's nothing in my head for them to ruin. i really really hate the werepanther storyline though. inbred raping hillbilly hicks all need to die.

Basically the only thing left in the series from the books is Eric's memory loss. I honestly can't think of a single other thing that is still from the novels.

That isn't even my concern and never has been.
