One monitor at 1680x1050, no SLI now but it will be a future consideration.

Is the 460 still the one to get or is there better? Is there anything in the near future that would be a good reason to hold off for a while?

actually you can find 470's and 560's for just under $200 on newegg

Edit: personally I would go for the 560. From all the comments and reviews that I have read the 500 series has a much better core, is a lot quieter, and puts out a lot less heat

upgrade the monitor to 1200 or 1080p
