im not sure wat to do it been 48 hours and i still cant figure it out... even my dad who is total computer geek have no idea. he say to ride it out but i cant live without runescape fr too long lolol... so if anyone of u ppl know how to help i thank u lots. =)

I want you to look at the information you have given us to work with.....
now lets look at whats missing.....
OS...
Hardware Info....
Type of Connection...
Where the Modem is located...
Where the router is located....
What happens if you network cable connect to the router...
Otherwise what Im going with is your dad ""who is a total computer geek"" has you blocked so he gets the full bandwidth for his ADULT habits. Otherwise all the total computer geeks I know would be checking EVERYTHING to figure out why their system is not functioning correctly.

kk srry i tell u all that i know bout my connect...
i dont know wat OS means but i know that i have a wireless modem
From atnt the router is located upstairs on our house.
it is two family house so we basically share the internet connection fr the entire 2 families.
My modem is hooked up to my computer
and fr the last question i have no clue.
hope that that is enough fr u or anyone else to figure out the problem.
last thing that i wanna say is that internet works fine fr everyone else in the house.

Then I must assume that something between you and the router is causing the issues.
Things like...Cellphones, wireless phones, water, people, CDs or reflective sheeting, metal, etc...block wireless connections.
Or you computer is infected. This happens when you download stuff and run it...believing its going to help you with games...
Im going with Infected presently.

lol. I just fixed the problem today. It turns out that atnt upgraded and i needed a new wireless modem. Thanks you for all of the help and please stop comenting on my grammar, i am now making an effort to fix that Seffrid. I really liked the joke about g0d too. See ya  |
