The HP TouchPad is a really nice web browser, e-reader, music and video player for $100 or $150. But with the lack of apps, not a whole lot more that can be done with it. But that may be plenty already for many people.

If you aren't one of those people though and don't want to wait for Android on Touchpad, then you can install Ubuntu on it now.

It appears this Ubuntu is installed within WebOS and run from within WebOS. I'm a bit too Linux stupid to gamble with it though.
