ok so my GF dropped her iphone and there is a slight crack in the screen (i haven't seen it yet). I am guessing verizon and apple won't consider the phone being dropped as normal use so I am guessing they won't be offering to fix the phone free of charge. she didn't buy the warranty on the phone since getting it replaced cost the same amount as the phone did new. anyone had this happen before and have any suggestions as far as what to do about getting the crack fixed? living with it could be a potential option given the price of getting the phone fixed. thanks in advance for any help.

Live with it, or see if can pickup a cheap replacement phone from the people upgrading to iphone5 from craigs/ebay.

that's a good point, i forgot the new iphone is probably coming out recently.

I know a guy back home that makes a killing doing iphone repairs. It's not a bad business to be in.

iphones 3g and 3gs were easy to replace the glass, iphone 4 is a bit harder
