PC Perspective is reporting AMD will announce the Bulldozer FX processors on October 3rd and will be available by October 12th.

The prices I see quoted are really cheap too, can probably find them for 20+ bucks less then MSRP.

Apparently AMD already lowered the prices on the Bulldozer chips before they even released. This has people believing AMD wasn't able to achieve performance competitive to Core i7 processors, so AMD is pricing it against Core i5 instead.
