A quick browse on Intel's Xeon line shows a 10 core CPU, and then going down shows me a 8 core CPU.....
I guess most consumers wouldn't know that, I suppose.

I imagine the context would be first 8 core desktop processor.
AMD is also shipping 16 core server processors.
