I would google, but I'm having a brain fart and can't even think of what to google. I have a VGA splitter cable, and I need a "coupler" nut to put in-between the Y ends and the VGA cable so they don't come apart. Both cable's have male ends. Anyone have any clue where I could get something like that?

If I understand you right you just need a gender changer right?

Not a gender changer, just the nuts that I can put inbetween the cables to screw each side into. The splitter has female ends and the vga cable has a regular male end. Unfortunately both ends have screws instead of one of the ends (the splitter cable) having the nuts to screw into.

Oh sorry, misunderstood. I'm pretty sure these are the right size.

Well 4/40 is the standard post size for ports. As long as your posts come close to touching 6mm length should be plenty. I would locktite the nut to the Y-cable posts to make life easier in the future though. THen it will be pretty much permanent and much easier to attach the cables.

I swear I read the title of this thread as "Looking to screw 'couples'".

Nothing to see here.
