I just realized a huge problem Steam has caused for me. Typically I can't wait for the price of a new release to come down... or even for the reviews to start flooding in. I see everyone talking about the game, I tell myself I will wait... then after the 4th or 5th time I see it on the pre-download list on Steam I click the east-cheesy download button and let it start downloading in prep for the next day.

This time I saw my email about pre-ordering on Origin. Thought to myself "Oh, that releases tomorrow?", deleted the email and happilt went aout my business playing other games to avoid being productive. Heck, I'll probably even make it to the weekend now, catch some reviews, and possibly just pick it up for the console depending on what I read. Nothing cures lack of self control more easily than making something just slightly less convenient to do

Aye, to me it's like Maxim opening their own book stores because they can cut out the profits of Barnes and Nobles... and the nearest Maxim store is 3 hours away.

At any rate, despite how the OP read it wasn't intended to be a knock on Origin. Just a quick reflection a week after I'd wished I waited picking up Rage... the day before IT released

what browser doesn't have spell check in it? or are you still using ie 1.0 on windows 95?
