Wonder if they will ever fully understand what happened? I would be interested in hearing about the design flaw. If they ever really figure it out and/or even tell us.

That is part of the problem with the huge service networks. Everything is going abstract and modeled so when things happen on a lower level or in a relationship type situation nobody really has a clue how it all works. The whole cloud based, virtual servers, thing is a great example. It is awesome when it works but it has the potential to go horribly wrong and everyone seems to be jumping on the bandwagon. I'll stick with my dedicated servers coloc'ed in a data center somewhere over all that until they've managed to work out the bugs and understand it all better.
