Ah I almost got excited. This is nice, but it is just for the Inventory.
I am hoping and waiting for somebody to come up with action bars. the more the better. If they can make the UI to look like an MMO's it would be great. Having to go through a bunch of menus every time you want to switch a weapon, or use one of a myriad of skills is pretty ridiculous.
Yes I know about the favorites menu, but it is still a bad way of accessing your items/spells/weapons and it is disorganized.

Hopefully the Construction kit allows somebody to make a proper action bar/hotkey mod. Inventory doesn't bother me as much.

if you hover over things in your favorites menu, you can actually assign hotkeys to them as well. like 1-2 equip dual weild weps, 3 bow, 4 fireball and so on.

Yes, I do that but it is just 8 things. I want action bars enough to put say 10 spells 5-6 potions, 3-4 weapons etc... Say 4 action bars with 10 buttons each will be great. Then make action bar 1 hotkey to 1-0, bar 2 to CTL 1-0, Bar 3 to Shift 1-0, and bar 4 to Alt 1-0.
Make it so I can hotkey all my currently equipped gear to 1 button.. things like that.


I don't get why Bethesda did such a sloppy job on PC-version's interface. Modders do that kind of stuff for free and pretty fast, if Bethesda was too lazy they could have given a good community modder $100 bucks and asked them to do it.


Thankfully they have the construction set, so there is still hope.
