Hello everyone,

My second question has to do with the power connection between the PSU and the video card.

According to the information provided for both the video card ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130738 ) and the PSU ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010)....

The video card requires 2 x 6 Pin connectors, and the PSU has 4x6+2 Pin connectors.

Does this mean that the connectors from the PSU will work with the video card, or do I need an adapter for the 4x6+2 to make it just 2x6 (no +2)?

Thank you!

The PSU will work and the video card comes with adapters if you need them. You should be fine.

What the PSU is stating is that it has 4 connectors that are in 2 pieces(basically) so that it can be used as a 6pin or an 8pin. (6+2)
