So here is the deal:

My build is being shipped by UPS in four different tracking numbers, from three different locations.

Of the four shipping orders, three of them show "In transit; On time". These three show an expected delivery as of this upcoming Friday. Under the details, it shows "Origin scan" and "Order Processed: Ready for UPS".

One of the shipping orders shows only "In transit". At the bottom it shows "Origin Scan" but NOT "Order Processed: Ready for UPS".

I was really hoping all of the orders would be delivered on Friday so I could build this weekend. I understand UPS does not deliver for Newegg on the weekends (I read that somewhere).

So...given your own experiences with Newegg orders & the UPS, is there any possibility of receiving the remaining package with the others on Friday, or is this just not going to happen?

I've noticed this with NewEgg recently as well. As they expand, they start to have different centers of distribution. It was sad when they opened one in Cali as I had to start paying taxes, lol.

your best bet is to monitor the location of the packages, and hope that they end up at a distribution center near you on friday. if they arent updated as "out for delivery" call and ask if you can pick em up. thats never been a problem for me, just need your ID and to fill out their paperwork. gl

If you ordered it today, it's normal for tracking information to not be updated yet. I wouldn't worry until the following morning.

yeah but for the most part, i didn't mind this because the center is approximately 2 hours away from my house so free shipping is next day shipping. then they some how changed it so that i NEVER get orders shipped to me from the la center. 9/10 i get it shipped from fking kentucky. i've stopped using their free shipping on anything i care about because i don't want a ups ground package coming to me from kentucky. so i'll go fedex and if i do over night, i swear to god it ships out of california.


edit: oops forgot to address op. hah gg me. i ordered a thing from newegg on the 1st and have had the tracking number since yesterday. however, yesterday was a nat holiday so my tracking number has been saying they've received the order but don't have the item. mine is dhl though, not ups. i also received my ups tracking number for an item i bought on amazon on the 31st on the 2nd and again, not telling me more than they received the invoice. but it's giving me a delivery date so.. *shrug* chalk it up to the holiday.

To answer some questions: I purchased everything on Saturday and started receiving tracking numbers from Newegg on Monday.

I just checked UPS again this morning, and I found that the 4th pkg that I was unsure of is actually arriving early! This is why the "on time" was not listed, because it was not on time, it is early!

I've noticed that several of my recent purchases don't actually update on the UPS site. I'll get the original shipping confirmation, but after that.. nothing... until it shows up on my doorstep a day or so early.

I've had the same issue occur frequently with UPS. Even when all the tracking information is blank...there is still an expected delivery date. That is all I look for anymore...just find the expected delivery date...because the tracking info is meaningless.
