Today it was my Touchpad's turn to get a try of CM9 Android 4.0. Upgraded from CM7 Alpha 3.5 to CM9 Alpha 0.6. The upgrade went fairly smooth. All my data and apps from the CM7 install were preserved and no apparent side effects from upgrading.

Been playing with it for just an hour or so and have a few good and bad things...
The good part I got Android 4.0 on my Touchpad. Finally can see tablet versions of my apps and browsers that are more tablet friendly. And the UI is pretty responsive.
The bad part. Both Google browsers seem a tad slower than Dolphin at loading a page and flicker a little bit while loading, both should be a lot better than this. The touch screen doesn't seem quite right CM9 Alpha 0.6 mentioned some fix was added, but more work is needed, tapping icons more often causes the page to move than activate the icon, taps sometimes don't register at all.
Other than the screen being finicky and the Google browsers acting a bit weird, I'd say things are working well enough that I'll continue using it a while longer. There are numerous other tiny bugs and imperfections and the big one is video acceleration still isn't working, but I can live with these.
Oh one other issue I ran into, sometimes the combination bar (the soft keys and notification bar at the bottom) doesn't hide in full screen apps or there are apps that don't have fullscreen mode but would work better without that bar on. So I needed a way to force that bar to hide. Someone created a toggle that you can install that will do this.
