If you'll remember last year Google choose Kansas City as it's location to test out it's high speed fiber optic roll out. Those lucky bastards will get to play with Google's 1 gigabit broadband service.

Turns out that fiber optic connection won't just be used for data. Google applied for a license to sell subscription TV in Missouri (where part of Kansas City is).
