I want an ipad application that will go directly to sharing enabled Windows 7 directories and pull/play files from there.

It needs to play movies, music and open up PDF and Office apps.

Does anybody know of anything that will do this?

I saw ifiles and ifileexplorer but it didn't say if they would work with Windows 7.

I use GoodReader it lets you sync WiFi with Windows and Apple. It will open PDFs, and Word Files (for sure, I don't know about excel) and play movies in the MP4 and I think MOV format only (which is it's only drawback).

You map a drive with Windows Explorer to sync it wifi, or I use CyberDuck http://cyberduck.ch/ to get files into GoodReader.

I use Air Video and highly recommend it.

Basically it let's me stream my movies, any format, to my mobile devices (even over 3G at 80 mph down the highway). You have to load a small agent on the PC, and let some port through the firewall, setup a pin, and profit.

For the other files, I just use Dropbox. PDFs and docs open easily enough from the drive into whatever device you are using.

And lastly, Spotify for music. I don't do mp3s anymore. Too much of a hassle.

Dropbox works fine, but I want something that allows me to access my PC directly.

What about something like this?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136880 It has "cloud" access... not quite your PC, but nothing wrong with a NAS.

Currently in the MMO unemployment line.
Can I get $15/month for not playing them?

Set up webdav on your file server.
Access files from any webdav app.
Profit.

Webdav apps won't stream movies though, however, pdfs, etc, bleh. All without dropbox. We have 225 ipads at work all accessing our webdav server for files
