Having grown up in Milwaukee I have a certain affection for UWM and the Badgers. I did in fact take my first college courses at UWM-Milwaukee, and misspent a year or two playing in a Punk band that toured the UW system.

And of course there is the whole Badger thing, although one feeds off the other in that case. If I have any home other than Southern Cal it's Milwaukee. However......

I will root for Oregon, as a dutiful PAC-12 fan should.

But I don't promise not to smirk if Oregon loses and it turns out the wrong team went to Pasadena.
