Identified Patient

This concept is not difficult to grasp. All family systems have someone who carries the burden for the family. A general understanding translates as follows: If the problems are with the identified patient, then they are not part of me. Genograms are good tools for seeing patterns.

It goes beyond a traditional family tree by allowing the user to visualize hereditary patterns and psychological factors that punctuate relationships. It can be used to identify repetitive patterns of behavior and to recognize hereditary tendencies."

In my experience, there are so many inter and intra-psychic dynamics happening. Becoming aware of what Is (Reality) is the door to freedom.
