When I was born, the Dr. reported to my Mother that I was born w/o
eyelids. She was crushed, because my Father was Slavic (Polish descent), and the
Slavic peoples were noted for swollen, heavy eyelids. What sort of legacy
for her baby boy, sans eyelids, would there be for me?

Fortunately, my family was Christian, which believed in circumcision of
young males. The Dr., skilled in plastic surgery, and looking down at the
afflicted young male and realizing he had plenty of material to work with,
performed a procedure transplanting the excess foreskin to concoct eyelids for
the young lad.


The young lad managed to go on and run several business's, provide jobs
for many families, and eke out a pretty decent living.
