I read this story an undisclosed number of years ago and enjoyed it a great deal. I wonder what the outpost makes of it?

I remember reading that in college in the same class where I read about the guy who wants to boink horses but ends up putting their eyes out(Equs I think it was called)....can barely remember what it was about though. I do remember I thought it was pretty neat stuff and liked it. That's about it.
