Growing up in New York City I've met people like this. I remember them, their stories, attitudes and warnings quite well. Modern leftists really aren't much different than old leftists. They are single-mindedly determined that only they know best how to macro & micro manage societies and people. The left always fails but not until countless numbers are killed and made to suffer because of the hubris of the left.
