We have more prisoners than China. If we privatized prisons then we will have prison lobbyists trying to make everything illegal so that they can have more prisoners for profit.

Supporters said that the plan would save like $16 million but they never provided any evidence to back that assertion up, and they refused to allow a study to be done to verify the claim.
Community Corrections of America was a big donor to Rick Scott and many of the Tea Partiers who won in 2010 here and they were pushing hard for the bill.

That is going to change. Now that a lot of us RP supporters are getting power in the GOP we are not going to let facists like Rick Scott get away with tea party deception.

Rick Scott has been a miserable failure. If he was up for re election this year he'd lose in a landslide.
Of course, things could change quite a bit by 2014 so who knows?
