It is recovering. This is why Republicans are talking about banning birth control, stopping gay marriage, and other social issues.

It does feel like we are one a slight up tick but it's a LONG way till the election.
If a Rep wins it'll only be because American think Obama failed or didn't do enough. It's always that way for an incumbent Prez. It really has little to do with the opposition imo. It's the economy stupid!!

Recovering....
Employment continues to fall.
Wages are stagnant.
Necessities (food/fuel) are inflating at over 6%
Federal debt curve is accelerating.
Stock market ramp is based on HFT trading of an ever-narrowing list of companies.
But neither Democrats or Republicans have cared about fixing the economy for a long time. They make concerned noises, but have been destroying it for better than 30 years.
