A lot of the source would need to be redone at the proper resolution. It's an expensive process that they probably don't have the sales numbers to back.
Seasons 1 - 3 were shot at 4:3, 4 and 5 were 16:9.
I'll be all over this if it ever happens, but it doesn't look like it would make much business sense.
