I guess she was born here but lived in Arizona a few years. Came back here and then she won the contest on Saturday. Some reporter looked at her Twitter feed and it said,

"I hate Seattle's cold rainy weather and the people here are really annoying!"

lol she was doing a media blitz today to try to explain herself and before that she deleted that Twitter account.
