Who says that, unlike dogs, cats can’t learn tricks?
Well, some owners might have underestimated their pets. Yet on this video, a cat owner was able to teach his cat to use sign language.
The man ate from a table while his black-and-white cat stood in a chair next to him. Suddenly the cat gestured that he wanted some food by touching his mouth with his paws. The owner handed him a crumb, which his pet chewed quickly.
The cat then tapped him asking for another piece. He nodded asking his pet what it wanted and the cat repeated the sign that means “eat†or “food.â€
The owner tried to confirm if he really wanted food by also tapping his mouth with his fingers and the cat responded with the same gesture. The cat was rewarded with another treat because of his cleverness.
The cat's video has already reach nearly 1 million views.
