When Does Courage cross into Foolishness?

I just saw a CNN report by a young news correspondent who sneaked into Syria to do a news cast.Sometimes you are brave until you are killed. When you behave like this, I have to believe there is some form of denial mixed with some form of a death wish and just pinch of adrenaline junkie. Hobbits were courageous. but not many hobbits would have just sneaked into Mordor for a newscast.
