The only reason why I upgraded was because Apple products hold up their value surprisingly well. I sold my base-model ipad 2 for $430 cash just a couple weeks ago, which means the upgrade was pretty cheap overall.

The 4x increase in screen resolution is the only real upgrade here. (they say 4G/LTE drains battery power like cabby's mom draining her clients' balls; both are good only for short spurts. and the camera... who cares?) For me, the resolution was worth the cost of admission, but not many apps use the new resolution yet... the various ebook apps do, though, which is why I like it.

Also, I already know I'm being a hipster douche.

Im still deciding on whether or not get a laptop which has way more usefullness over all or an ipad/other tablet. Lack of any expandable memory is what kills the ipad for me. But in all honesty I would only use it mostly for youtube/google/calculus apps :/ im still on the fence. Next check is a free check for me so its all play money

I just figured out you can play games on the iPhone. Like, real games. I'm playing some Eye of the Beholder rip-off called Undercroft. Technology is amazing!
