i still got ohio state and kentucky in my final two.
but msu losing to louisville (and what a pathetic performance) really screwed over my bracket. i had MSU going all the way since I work here.

I never understood why Roy Williams would leave an elite basketball school. Overall it's working out fine for him but that was a helluva risk to take and for what? He got to go to a school that was about 1% better as a basketball school.
Why take the risk? Why be disloyal? If he'd have stayed at Kansas he'd have a statue on campus and probably a building named after him. He's never going to get that at North Carolina. They already have their iconic coach.

Because Roy came from UNC so it only makes sense to finish there.
KU got a cake-walk into the final 4. If they had kentucky or ohio state's road, they would have been knocked out a long time ago.

Its not sad, it was the fact that they had no sports there once upon a time. No NFL, no NBA, no MLB, southerners don't even know what hockey is.
College sports was all they had, and Football was already dominated in other southern locales. UNC focused on worshiping college hoops and Dean Smith was their God.
