This one has been growing since at least 1968 or so with Nixon's southern strategy. Things eased for a bit in the 1970s until the Laffer curve, supply side economics, and the recruitment of the moral majority into the GOP grew the bubble substantially. It looked like it might be under control from 88 to 94 or so, then the Republican Revolution, PNAC, and later the Bush administration grew it exponentially. When the RWN stupidity bubble finally bursts this is what will happen to America.
