Collector's edition is $150

what's sad is by the time this comes out, we'll likely be too scattered to form much of an Outpost guild

They're taking a page from SWTOR's book. SWTOR proved people like elocism will pay anything for a collector's edition so why not gouge them?

I am just digging out of a very long tax season and haven't been paying attention to GW2. Which version is the best deal?

Probably the standard or digital deluxe. The CE is only if you want the art book, figurine or soundtrack.

The digital deluxe doesn't really offer anything insane but if the game takes off the mini-pet might sell for a decent amount in game down the road.
