I don't play on darktide, so i have to ask...

what's to stop people from killing your trade bot and just taking your stuff when you drop it? (if this is a dumb question forgive me, i'm just curious about how they do it over there)

i have no spot to mule it anyway so i really don't care if it helps someone

but you can either hide behind a housing barrier or just run a salvage bot since bags of salvage dont drop

Below level 10 (pretty sure) you don't drop items just loose pyreals. My understanding is that you just park a low level toon, right out of the training acadamy at a town lifestone and have at it. If people kill it, it just respawns in the same spot with no loss of items. Who cares about vitae if it is a disposable bot.

Think that is how it is done.

Most Bots unless salvage bots are parked in Apartments or villas behind barriers and the bot makes the trade threw the barrier

That's pretty clever. Do they advertise in /ct how to find them, then?

any level toon can drop items on death to another player. below level 10 makes no difference, just set up in an apartment behind the barrier and you are fine.

Good to know. Must have been salvage bots I saw parked at the Lifestones. I was too busy running for my life trying to get to samsur to turn in my writs to stop and shop them.
