Don't think lampblack will work :\. I got desert brass/abyss black ones, and the veins look grey. Lampblack is a shade lighter then abyss also. Dark grey is the darkest you can get.

Take a look for slate black as well. On the base armor (not sure how it shows on veins) Slate Black is darker than Abyss and Soot. It might work visually. Good luck. I am looking for it for you and if I find it I will give you a shout.
