You are no longer simply a UA. UA weapons now appear in all of the 3 melee weapon skills: Heavy, Light, and Finesse. (UA: Heavy - Nekode (now slash/pierce) & Cestus/ Light - Katar & Knuckles/ Finesse - Claw & Hand Wraps)
To create some sense of flavor weapon Mastery has been added. As a Sho char you have a natural affinity for UA which you gain at character creation and can be changed in Arwic via the Mastery Statues (if you were a Sho that didnt like using UAs). This Mastery gives you a +5 DMG Rating upgrade whenever wielding a UA (PK weapons don't count)
Within the melee skils, each melee weapon is represented; for example in Heavy there are axes, swords, maces, UAs, spears, staves, etc. Heavy melee skill does the highest dmg of the 3 skills. Light weapons is a cheaper alternative but does less dmg than heavy and still operates on Str&Coord. Finesse is an alternative to Heavy and Light much like Dagger was before this patch, it operates off Coord&Quick.
