Has anyone played DAoC or any other MMO while over seas? ATM am in Iraq. I rember back when i was home some ppl said they were playing while in Iraq. Just wondering how bad the lag will be since im over here.... this time.

There's really no reliable way to answer that, other than to try logging on for yourself. Try creating a trial acct (you don't need to give them your CC info to start one, so you won't get charged even if it's to slow to play), and try it out for yourself. To many variables in the equation to really be sure one way or the other. I knew several Japanese players who had less lag issues than many of the people here in the US, even those on the east coast.

My brother played off and on again while he was in Afghanistan. Sometimes it was fine and sometimes it was too laggy to play. I never pushed him for the details as to why but I'm blaming satellite internet.
