Which should I roll for farming glass/scales and such? I'll have a buffbot.
I haven't played mid in over 5 years

I like using my hunter to farm glass but it all depends on where you want to farm it.

SM. They solo well (with bot) and can get into PBAE grps at rassa or in malmo etc if you respec to PBAE.

Rassa is a popular PL spot in ToA that also drops glass.
Malmo is the dragon zone, where you'll most likely end up farming scales

Hunter, you can farm glass in toa with colossal, farm scales in malmous, rvr and do pretty much in DAoC solo

I farm scales in Malmo with SM and Hunter (I have a healer bot). They seem to be close in terms of killing speed, but the SM has a level 50 2h pet, ML9, and celerity. Though, my hunter is hybrid spec in melee oriented gear so would be a lot faster if 50 archery and cap dex and spell dmg.
Do the same thing with ML9 BD re: scale farming.
I say it's a toss up once you are ML'd and geared so I might consider which one you may play more in RvR and go with that.
