This is not much of an important thread but yeah, I'm curious. I happened to return to the game and heard that dwarves are able to access the shaman class. It's no biggie, but this made me curious (along with me scratching my head). I am not complaining, but I am confused.

Did mythic ever state the reason? If so, can somebody post or explain it for me?

Now, I'm a nobody, duh, but I've been always hoping for Valkyn to gain access to shaman. There are several plausible reasons aside to their awkward animation .

Suffice to say on the RP side, shaman deals with earth-tribal crafts and Trolls and Kobolds are just the right ones for this. Also, both Troll and Kobold have access to Bonedancer and Shaman.
Dwarves may be living in mountains and stuff like that too, but would it be more plausible if Valkyn had the access?

Along with that, Valkyn already has somewhat caster stats xP if it weren't for the "useless QUI", in this case.

Yeah I don't know why they didn't allow valkyns to be shamans. It's not like valkyns would make such awesome shamans (or any class for that matter) that they would force all the other shamans to reroll. There's no valkyn skalds either for no apparent reason.

So I guess this just happened over night without explanations or plausible reasoning by any mythic staff member.

Jesus k-rist, I even told Matt Firor about frigging Valkyn Shaman when he was at the Games Convention in Germany, Leipzig few years ago.

ahhh, mythic ._. xD

edit: Mmmh, WoW going to have dwarf shaman.

Aawww noooo - don't tell me they copycat to get some subs'

Give decent - indepth and viable - reasons and it would be worth screaming for that too. Too bad I don't see any of that in that posting. Won't go deeper into that discussion since obvious trollbait is obvious.

Besides, this is about choices that were already made without any explanation. It's a dead horse, but CSI:Mythic could still tell us how this horse died.

Lurikeens should be deleted.

As for Dwarves...well because some people wouldnt want to be troll or kobold. I know I had never considered one until frostys became an option.
