Looking for some help in locating my character .ini files on my vista DAoC game client. Since i had to re-install my game client due to an O/S upgrade from vista 32 to win7-64, where would I find my character .ini files so that I can copy and paste it back into the new installation and not have to sit there and fix every dang character toon manually?

got tired of all the problems with vista-32 and heard some rather good things about win7-64, I installed the new O/S on a new hard drive and have my old vista install on the old hard drive, just in case...

any and all help would be greatly appreciated.......

OMFG, you don't deserve to play DAOC. You are a lazy tard.

wow, that was a productive and helpful reply. The guy shouldn't have to reconfigure everything if he doesn't have to.

Moving on to an answer, I think they are in your login account profile folder somewhere. I'm at work, so can't look it up on my own set up to give you more details then that.

Lazy tard? don't deserve to play? Look who is trolling the boards to show your personal ignorance.....This is after all the DAoC topic boards, where general questions about the game is posted. If you don't have any advice or information to pass on to those asking for assistance, then please do shut your mouth and go back to WoW where I am sure your wanted for your stunning intellectual acumen........that allows you to push more than one button at a time to fart or move.

At least some of the people still utilizing these forums have some deceny; thanks Hawk, that gives me a place to start looking. As for the other poster, don't think you would want to manually reconfigure 40+ toons, with all the quickbar spells, qbinds and such now would you? Having had to do it 3 times before, the 4th time is that much worse.

geez, quess that goes to show that some people still troll these forums to flame anyone and anything...should tell them to look in the mirror, at the fool looking back at himself.

was googling a few other idea's that popped into my head to see if I could find a work around for this problem. Came across this program called "DAoC Settings Switcher" program, that sounds like it is exactly like what I need to fix my quickbars and such. Crossing my fingers and hoping it works, and I will also make sure to make a back up copy of my character .ini files, so that I don't have to go thru this a 5th time.

Much thanks for those helping out a fellow player!
