yes, since mythic implemented the new alternative currencies in DAoC, you can farm them as long as your in the right area of the realm. For atlantean glass, you can get some from rvr, by taking keeps and getting the keep keys to the chests, there. Usually get a mix of scales, glass and other items from the keep chests, depending on what color of key you got. As to farming glass, 98% of the mobs in ToA content area drop glass, except for like the other poster mentioned (bugs, fish and such) statues, dust devils and even steam/storm/smoke and lava elementals have a chance to drop glass caches also.
AS for dragon scales, any of the major dragon encounters in Avalon city, Dartmoor or the labyrinth will drop scales. In Avalon city all the Draconian mobs do drop scales in different amounts, depending on their lvl. In dartmoor, all the granite giant mobs drop scales, again according to lvl, the higher the lvl the more scales they drop, as do the stonecrush mobs there, also. You can also farm scales in the labyrinth also, but there it's more of a rvr oriented area, so need to keep aware of your surroundings or get ganked by stealther's in there You can also try farming the dragon in the frontiers by the Berkstead tower.
Mythic also added in a new currency for Caer Sidi drops, called "sidi souls" that can be used just like money to buy sidi items from the merchant in the Caer sidi dungeon.
