did you try to appeal? I haven't heard of Mythic doing stuff about these issues, but if they have chat and trade logs, should be pretty easy to figure it out. This deserves a permanent account ban IMO, you just have no excuse whatsoever to steal someones plat. Especially when the guy actually admits to it, he should be banned. Unfortunately people would find more clever ways, like going LD and pretending your internet was down for a long time or something. I don't think you could hand out perma-bans for stuff like that. But if you are stupid enough to admit it in /tell, and then go on about your daily business, well, makes me wish I had the power to go in and delete their characters. And mark my words, I would delete several RR12 of someone who steals 50p from a stranger and brags about it.
